I think that it would not fun to play as. It may be intellectually interesting to think about, but to actually play? I would not enjoy it. Maybe someone else would, but not me.

okay but it also means it really sucks to be that person’s teammate

and in some circumstances incentivizes literally openclaiming as scum to try to get another faction to convert you so that you can out your old teammates to them?

Only if they are sufficiently small enough, which would be kind of a problem given that the town would need to be big enough just to have a simple majority.
