There is almost always a way to do it but it might depend on your door design, ask your RA

people might tell you things like “be sure to lock it for real if you’re actually going out so you stuff doesn’t get stolen” but I know the truth, which is that getting all your stuff stolen is nothing compared to being able to save like 30 seconds

More accurately I’m gonna set up a rubber band system to keep it closed while I’m like sleeping and shit
Idk if this will solve your problem in particular but I have a pouch thingy that goes around my neck where I keep my phone, wallet, all my random ID card type things, keys, etc.
and then I just wear it Literally Everywhere
so I have a single thing to remember rather than eight or whatever
(also I never take things out of the pouch unless I’m actively using them, at which point they immediately go back in)
