this is somehow not the dumbest murder plan in the fic. someone committed a murder against someone they were clearly seen with that would obviously point to them because. the victim didn’t want to torture someone and they did. the only reason the trial lasted longer than 5 minutes is that the killer also became a victim and i genuinely could not explain from there even if i wanted to

the new protag also gets like at least 5 things wrong during the two different class trials. the group is literally this close to getting masskilled for getting the murder wrong
