It stands for Hell Dualies. We intended to run quad dualies (Tetras, Squelchers, Dapples, VDualies), but our Squelchers swapped over to Splattershot cause it was Zones. Didn’t do much

i mean other than the fact that tri-strike is good enough at punishing crab now that you can probably mitigate quad crab really easily even though crab is still the best special in the game by far

actually stamp has good object damage too. point is that you can get counterpicked for crab-spamming even if in general play pretty much every fight is centered around whether or not your opponent has a crab yet

this is because crab is a well-designed special that is stupidly overtuned. also i missed the cookie thread i will be irregularly screaming into the void here becasue it’s a good place to talk longform stuff and get back into talking in more public spaces
