Here is a two-page document. This covers literally all the basic grammatical structure and vocabulary you need to speak toki pona.

I’ve read the “two-page document” basics of a ton of different languages, but toki pona is the only one of those I actually speak, because it’s the only one where the two-page document is The Whole Thing, essentially.

The reason you learn toki pona over natural languages is because the time investment required is incredibly disproportionate. It’s not memorizing 137 words of toki pona over every word of a natural language, it’s over memorizing 137 more words of that natural language, and I find starting to do things much more fun than continuing to do them, so…

Okay so for who do we vote?

I think my favourite match so far is Infinity versus Twelve. I dunno why it hits me as so much funnier than all of the “esoteric number versus random integer” ones. Probably because it was incredibly close last time I checked (I have since checked again and it is no longer close)
