basically imagine youâre a nigh omnipotent flying skull with an incorporeal form making you invincible to physical attacks, and unlike liches you are immortal without the need of silly things like feeding a phylactery

I put in a lot of research about fantastical immortality methods for FotD.

i did however have to sit through a 2 hour conversation on liches and their many variants

did you know that dragons can become liches
and this makes them even stronger than traditional dragons
and their phylactery tends to be a very large, heavy and expensive object
and theyâre also naturally unmatchable spellcasters so if you thought the traditional âinvincible macguffinâ phylactery you had to fuckinâ launch into the sun was badâŚ
