One of my friends called me “simultaneously 12 and 40” recently and yeah that’s about what’s going on. This was prompted by the fact that I was being condescending to someone about how They’re Still Young and Lack Perspective when they were 3 years older than me

They should try not Being Young and Lacking Perspective

Tutu sometimes has the wholesomeness of a 60yo grandma

The vintage type, not the middle aged that ice screams at cashiers

I think youre translating some romanian phrases very literally in english and it makes me need to take a double take when reading your posts

May text formatting insight:

Initially this sentence read “They should try not being young and lacking perspective”, but that’s ambiguous! Is it to be read as “try not [being young and lacking perspective]”, suggesting a negation of both items, or “try [not being young] and [lacking perspective]”, implying they should try being old and lacking perspective?

By capitalising the individual verb-phrases, we reveal that “Being Young” and “Lacking Perspective” are their own discrete grouped items, and that “not” applies to both of them. Hope this helped!
