its true because i suck at it. im replaying celeste on keyboard so i am struggling to use the buttons but because ive seen it all before my brain goes mmm go as fast as possible
so when I find out if i click buttons a very specific way i get a bunch of speed with NO DOWNSIDE [no downside] I will do it every time and fuck it up constantly

last time i played celeste i got stuck like halfway through farewell because i suck at using controllers but the game felt wrong on keyboard and ive yet to try the game on keyboard again even though i kind of want to

but i love me games where the movement is schmoovement

my thing with video games is i like start off at -1 skill. most people are at 0 im at -1. and i will reach 0 after like. so many months. like cosmically bad at video games. I played one specific minecraft minigame for like a year getting absolutely fucked up at it i had like 30 wins that entire year, 9 months in the game.
