yeah the full thought was more like ‘it’s surprising that May turned out so normal given that they have a Tumblr and have been online for ages’

(tbc this is Tumblr [derogatory [spoken by a Tumblr user who absolutely picked up ways to be Not normal from there]] not like Tumblr [derogatory [outsider laughing at the weird nerds]])

in this context ‘normal’ means ‘posting slurs in the cookie thread’
