Everything from the beginning was planned out - the entire story. It was crafted in a way where you can enjoy what has led up to the climax - to see the hidden guns sprinkled throughout the novel finally start to be aimed and fired, you see that the skills the protagonist got from conflicts being put to the test - as though the ending was the final exam of eveyrbing they have learned throughout the series. Itā€™s amazing.

The summary of the first book is: A certain college girl whoā€™s loved books ever since she was a little girl dies in an accident and is reborn in another world she knows nothing about. She is now Myne, the sickly five-year-old daughter of a poor soldier. To make things worse, the world sheā€™s been reborn in has a very low literacy rate and books mostly donā€™t exist. Sheā€™d have to pay an enormous amount of money to buy one. Myne resolves herself: If there arenā€™t any books, sheā€™ll just have to make them! Her goal is to become a librarian. This story begins with her quest to make books so she can live surrounded by them! Dive into this biblio-fantasy written for book lovers and bookworms!

But this is a FUCKING LIE of a summary. Itā€™s accurate for the first book yes, but thatā€™s just it - the series goes above and beyond what I have ever seen with story crafting and it has magic in it! Thatā€™s what made me interested in it in the first place, and while thereā€™s no magic for the couple first books, my god. I meant it when I said: the entire novel is basically the protagonist learning various things and the ending books are putting them to the test

Iā€™ve read other books on the site I read for translated stuff (Jnovels which I pay money too exclusively to read this series) and they are all disappoitning when compared to bookworm.

Not to mention, the humor of the book is great, for example this is much later in the story so spoiler section of the book:

is there a good translation site or do I need to spend a college tuition to buy it

thereā€™s a good translation site, the major problem is, the way the site works is I pay like 7 dollars and I get access to all their latest translations for a set period of time before the novel part is fully translated, which means, it works cuz Iā€™m already caught up, but for other people it would be like a college tututuon to read the entire series legally

that being said, the site runs catch-up months where people who are paying that money can read certain series for frees, and rarely bookworm may show up, but uh, you could probably find it not legally easily though with j-novel translations style, for the earlier parts anyway

and by all translations this means literally every book the site is translating

make sure itā€™s not machine translated, the series is fully translated machine wise but jnovel is where the actual polish comes in with good translations
