my parents tried to get me to do that and failed. they more wanted me to socialise. I was not having it. my ass was NOT doing karate it was at 9PM it was LATE!!!
eventually i ended up doing bowls. they told my mom there would be kids there. and when there wasnt they said theyd be there once the summer was over. there was never kids there I played bowls with a bunch of old people for like half a year
