Like ultimately one has a love-hate relationship with Mahjong Soul. Ultimately there’s a little bit of Stockholm Syndrome involved. You have to accept that the only functional English-language mahjong platforms are also gacha games and carry along with them a heavy helping of gacha game bullshit. And you grow to accept them. And welcome them into your heart
(But some of the outfits are genuinely fucking gross. Do not want to downplay that. Game sucks but we’re stuck with it and so I will naturally grow somewhat attached.)
