Imagine that a psychopathic murderer stabs a victim five times in an elevator. After stabbing them, the murderer leaves the elevator. However, this elevator has glass windows. The murderer simply stands there outside the elevator, staring at the bleeding body within, instead of fleeing the scene. Why?
