I’m famously very good with my personal information.
I think they should ban university on account of I refuse to remember the names of all these PLATFORMS. I keep typing in the wrong ones because every professor uses a different goddamn PLATFORM

Took college calc. At a college. For bureaucracy reasons had to also take the AP Calc exam and get a 5 to get credit for it. Assumed it would be the same material as the final, because they’re supposed to be equivalent. They were not. I had never seen a differential equation in my life when I took that goddamn exam
But I did remember that once, when asking for help with her homework, a friend of mine had mentioned that her professor forbade her from solving differential equations by treating dy/dx as a fraction, and so she was NOT allowed, under any circumstances, to treat dy/dx as a fraction, and everyone thought this was ridiculous. So I was like “got it, boss, treat dy/dx as a fraction” and got the problem correct and got my 5

what the fuck. that’s literally how you solve any differential equation that comes up on the ap calc test how else are you supposed to solve it

She was in college calc so it was a different context, it wasn’t in class, I genuinely just remembered a random post from a Discord server I was in
