Thanks. But March isn’t Winter over here.
i know!!
Yeah that’s the point
magnus what is march for you
When I use my descriptions of things, they describe my perception and experience with them. When I say “March” I refer to a collection of concepts and colours that I associate with March. Again, these are just words I use to refer to coordinates on the All Permeating Graph of Things
i wanna use this as a point of why i’m so right!
its autumn
which if we’re going by hemisphere things we were kinda arguing the exact same thing
March is the transition from summer to autumn. The environment’s getting colder, the warmth of summertime is gone, so you feel bittersweet and sentimental about the past. You haven’t quite started to see all the leaves dying yet, so it’s not quite a time of transitional beauty yet. It feels like a month of loss.
And the months have two sets of associations, the weather and the cultural ones. So when I refer to March you can’t directly translate that to your seasonal equivalent, both because your weather is just not one-to-one corresponding with mine, but also because there’s a set of Things that Go With March that don’t perfectly mirror
“Summer” and “Christmas” are both sentimental, come on.
bittersweet and sentimental!
common magnus feelings!
i think
sorry
I am so emotional. Everyone talks about how much I make them cry.
if we’re going purely by weather i think magnus is winter-autumn
