Cookie Thread Act 3: The Cookie Strikes Back

litten do you also have amblyopia?

I think a lot of the people who worry like that kid does also kind of lack perspective. On things. Who have lived their lives surrounded by 1. Other teenagers who have not yet had the chance to Succeed or Fail and 2. Adults who have Succeeded, or who they at least perceive as having Succeeded. So the idea of Failure is just a black void. Not getting into med school may as well be death. But life goes on!

If it’s lazy eye yes
I don’t know if I still have it but I assume so if it’s like one eye doing all the heavy work
they had to do laser surgery and eye patches but one eye is still weaker
and they can’t look at the same thing at the same time

I remember lazy eye being brought up tho

So when you have a lazy eye what they do is decide you know this good strong eye

z yeah he’s outclassing the weaker eye let’s nerf him and put a bunch of lasers into that eye

My depth perception on the tests, the ones where they literally test it by showing something different in each eye, is like, fine, but I don’t know what the fuck people mean by depth perception. Things don’t look or feel any different with one eye closed. And I’ve always struggled with knowing where objects are in space. So maybe it’s just the part of my brain that processes depth perception
