Although the one time I had to take an uber to my job, the guy was very nice. I still dont enjoy the experience

I typically avoid it because the money adds up and also I feel trapped, but I’ve had no car for two weeks and my friend has covid and can’t give me rides :smiling_face_with_tear:

USA is huge and not every place is as bad as this
Though i’d say for the most part things are too spread out and reliant on cars in this country

I lived in the middle of nowhere for several years. I wouldn’t go anywhere for months at a time. My brother would actually take me places just to get out sometimes.

But I live in a college town now and they have a good walkable city
