it varies by city – even the most walkable parts of the US are mostly worse than many European cities, but there are plenty of cities in the US with better public transit than Chloeville

fwiw if you’re talking about restaurant food that’s ~normal – sit-down dinner restaurants in the US are often operating under the assumption that you’re going to take some of your food home with you to eat as leftovers the next day, which is much less common in Europe

for non-restaurant food in the US you can just. make the amount you want :wowee:
