Should I drop Inorganic Chemistry I

Pros of keeping class:

  • I need it to graduate eventually
  • I should probably get to know the professor he has a research group
  • Itā€™s my only chemistry class RN, thatā€™s my major, & it will help me have better background for chemistry classes next semester
  • Itā€™s the only thing keeping me waking up before noon

Cons of keeping class:

  • I have a B in it right now and I otherwise have all As/A-s
  • Iā€™m taking 19 credits right now and I can afford to be taking 16
  • Most people donā€™t take this class during freshman year and Iā€™m doing htings out of order
  • Itā€™s the only hting keeping me waking up before noon

Keep it
Bs get degrees, and good connections with professors who do research is key if you wanna get a good stem job (or go to grad school)
Class might be hard but youā€™ll thank yourself later when you get a letter of rec tbh

I got into one of the best programs in my field with multiple Bs
They care far more about your hands on experience and recs from professors

2025 release date gives me hope that maybe theyā€™re loosening the one gen per 3 years thing to actually polish a mainline game

Also if you take difficult classes early it makes upper division ones feel sooooo much easier which helps when youā€™re feeling burnout in the later years (and you get a good foundation for stuff with ochem and inorganic)
