For the statement to be useful it needs to assume something about the people it’s speaking to
I intend the statement towards people on this forum, but I also would use it with people who don’t consider themselves to have biases

i also think the general stance of “one person out there exists who is probably an outlier to this blanket statement” isn’t really a productive thing to argue about or discuss bc like. they’re an outlier
