The Arbiter

Hand of Byzantium Special

Battle Tested (Passive) - You are passively:

• Immune to occupation and redirection.
• Immune to death at night once.

Inside Seclusion (Passive) - You have access to the following effects:

• At the start of the game or when promoting to Arbiter , you can choose any Unseen class to appear as to investigative abilities.
• Each night you may submit 1-2 players who you will appear to visit to investigative abilities. If none are chosen, you will appear to visit your real target.

Warrior in Training (Passive) - At the start of the game, choose a Hand of Byzantium member to become your chosen successor

• If the Arbiter dies or changes classes, the chosen successor will become the new Arbiter .
• Being the chosen successor is considered part of your class, and appears upon a true flip.
  • (This also means that effects that change flips can make it appear as though someone was the chosen successor.)
• If the chosen successor becomes King, the oldest Hand of Byzantium member becomes the chosen successor.
• Note that there can never be a third Arbiter by any means.

Imperial Providence (Day) - Choose a non-unique Unseen class and instantly inherit all their day abilities. This ability cannot be blocked, and may be multitasked with other day abilities. - 1 use

Entrust (Night) - Convert target player to the Hand of Byzantium version of their class. If the Hand of Byzantium failed to convert a target twice already and your next conversion would fail, it will instead target a random convertible player. This ability is disabled the night following the death of a member of the Hand of Byzantium (not including the King). - Infinite uses
Imperial Judgment (Night) - Target a player. You may redirect them to another player, or occupy them. You will also know who visits them. - Infinite Uses
