look multiple people in my calc class have tried to take the derivative of pi im just trying to be as clear as possible

You can use integrals to find the formula of a circle and volume of a sphere for examples.

I mean it kind of is a variable it’s just that you also know what it is so it isn’t a variable

have they tried to find the derivative of euler’s number too

you can actually take the derivative of pi it’s just 0

yeah how is pi a variable? it doesn’t change it’s value

It is explicitly not a variable because it is a constant that does not change
