ANYWAY @Ruby there are prereleases (there’s one next friday) that tend to be popular events and you get paired with people so you’ll be able to play no matter what. i know this is scarier to do alone, but if there are commander nights and you have a commander deck, you can try going and looking for a pod

My store also has trivia night during a casual commander night, and the guy I beat in the finals also talked about how he goes on that night because worst case scenario he can play trivia

M when I’m the card guy and I’m wolfing about how much I love the colour yellow in hopes of people letting me win tournament but it doens’t work and now I have to trade cards of equal value for the shitty yellow card I didnt want (I hate yellow)

Whenever I think somebody is lying to me I imagine exactly what their motives and goals would have to be in order for them to 1. actually decide to lie to me and 2. actually “rip me off” as opposed to lying about something that does not tangibly harm me. And if it sounds as ridiculous as this I discard the worry
