so i haven’t told anyone irl about possible changes to my sexuality and just now one of my housemates said this

I really like mechanics and want the underlying game rules to be consistent and deterministic so that players can make potentially valuable and useful inferences about the game state from mechanics. I have used “rule of cool” before and support in something like D&D where if a player is confused why something happened a certain way, you can just say “rule of cool” and acknowledge that it wasn’t RAW. As a mafia host, you can’t say “oh we rule of cool’d that” to a living player because it then throws doubt onto like everything.
