none, i tried and looked at a lot but nothing hooked me. i dont like story rich, im looking for something like … like playing pokemon nuzlocke but in a game. like something mechanically difficult and i press buttons and i see numbers go up

It’s old but the first thing that came to mind was Last Remnant, but damn the story is a focus too.
Any game made by tri-ace, so many complex strategies and systems.
Shin Megami Tensei/Persona series have complexity at the higher difficulties (also feel unfair sometimes)

I hated Valkyria Chronicle, but maybe that kind of strategy is appealing
