Then you would like the series, since it constantly layers upon itself. Douglas Adams had a similar cadence to Terry Pratchett, as the best comparison I could make.

I’m trying to think if I’ve ever dropped something unfinished and actually picked it up later. I like to see things through. If I ever stop something I usually had a negative enough experience to never pick it up again

there should be like a long-form game you stopped playing for a while

things i never finished but absolutely loved

  1. Disco Elysium (love what I played of this game)
  2. Okami (absolutely love what I played of this game)
  3. Pikmin 4 (one of my favorite franchises and loved the half I played of this game)
  4. Ace Attorney (i’ve been playing this recently but lost steam and haven’t opened it for a month)
  5. House of Leavs (one of the most enjoyable books i’ve ever read)

how do you finish things

I struggled to enjoy Mario 64 or Sunshine when I got both in the 3D All-Stars collection. I tried it again later and completed both, Sunshine rocketing to one of the more enjoyably difficult platformer games I’d played in a while.

lobcorp i technically never finished but that was just bc i enjoy the midgame the most and get really burnt out with the lategame and how long days take

There’s probably SOMETHING I’ve come back to but
