I’m speedrunning mine I’m just doing it very thoughtlessly
school expensive af
i get a internship at eli lilly through my scholarship
probably more chemical engineering but ill take it and I have to do it anyways
anyways we have an after-work social event ima go to, catch y’all later
and ye sulit im biased but if ur lookin at 477 you’re in the correct place :) :) :)
I’ve brought in just about hte maximum number of credits I’m allowed to and I’m taking the maximum number of credits I can without paying more and I’m pretty much only taking classes relevant to my degree. I just don’t think about it
I’m going faster than anybody I know who’s thinking about it
Obviously this will probably be some kind of issue in the long run I just hate thinking
too relateable tbh
ye ik but they can’t hold you forever surely
but hey maybe that’s perfect for you and if so you lucked out insanely well and can just return there a bunch and then convert to full time
I know a lot of companies don’t expect the students to know a lot about what they are applying for and will just show you the ropes
I’ve like, worked for six months as a student researched assistant for semi conductor materials, worked a couple jobs and I’ve also was part of the solar car team for a while so like I think im good enough for an internship and I’ve also been doing projects on the side
solar car
That was stressful btw cuz you have to spend like six hours with a magnet that may or may not work and fail mid way through
I haven’t done anything and it’s bad and I know it’s bad but I just cannot
and yeah tbh the hard part is always the first internship because when you have zero work experience companies see you as an unknown quantity
And also I had to figure out how coding in matlab worked because the software the magnet was using was outdated and we needed to customize the software ourselves
Not software like
What we sent to it
it’s certainly possible to have issues later on but in general people are usually much more skeptical of zero work experience candidates than nonzero
anyways bye nerds love y’all
except you arctic
I would love to put the student research as a jog because I’ve literally spent so many hours sitting in front of a magnet and trouble shooting that it might as well have been one
