you can usually transfer from one train for another for free if it’s within 2-3 hours of when you got on (depending on location)

with occasional exceptions! here in Chicago we have two separate train systems and you can’t transfer from either to the other :3

yeah this would’ve been the problem. i’m in the chicago area for the weekend and they wanted me to transfer between two of the systems. fuck that

instead we had to transfer between two lines but due to the intracacies of the system were forced to do so in such a way that we had to go through literally the entire loop

maybe on sunday? i’m a little too tired today + have some semblance of other plans

also as the length of the metro ride might give away we’re a bit far away from chicago proper

Real!!!

I mean it took me 2+ hours to get home on transit the last time I was in Chicago

Sunday is the Clocktower meetup so I’ll be busy all day starting at 1 but I’d be free in the morning (or very early afternoon)

what part of the city are you in?

evanston

big oof, that’s approximately the exact wrong direction

happy to try to make it work but no worries if it doesn’t

paradoxically getting from o’hare to evanston is only easy during the rush hour. minimum of 2 line changes required otherwise

please, we don’t have six unique archetypes

everyones an arete, an orangeandblack5, or a chloe
