when I was like seven years old I was visiting distant family with my not-distant family, and we stopped at McDonalds for snacks because it was like the only quick food place in the area we were driving through, and I ordered French fries
and it was super busy but eventually we got our food and hit the road, and I opened up my bag of French fries and it contained a totally different food
and being a small child I didn’t realize that them giving you the wrong thing was like. an option. so instead I was just like “these are really funny French fries 
”
(at which point my parents were like “hm. in fact these are not French fries, they are mozzarella sticks. however we don’t have time to go back.”)
put me off mozzarella sticks for years afterwards
