df has something called a mist generator which is a group of pumps moving water around continuously to make mist, something dwarves fucking love. i tried to make it by pumping water from my river through the tavern’s roof and out to the river. but for some reason that built up water faster than it was pumped out. so i flooded the tavern. THEN i tried it with pillars instead of statues (which are the traditional way of doing this) and flooded it again. so i have to put the pillars where the water drops so that i can pick it up again with the next pump

its insane it’s one of the best poisitve thoughts in the entire game. probably because of how damn fiddly the generators are to set up
