Cookie Thread Act 6: Cookie & Thread

discussion should go in cookie thread

putting this here for organization, cards will still be posted in cookie thread first

wouldn’t a seperate discussion thread be better @Arete so stuff doesn’t get lost in here

hmmm I’m thinking about this again and I’m wondering if I should have kept “not immune to occ/redirect,” kings being occ/deb immune is a bigger buff to town than scum. do people have opinions?

(with the exception of PK, who apparently is occ/deb immune)

clarification: you are immune to having bleeding inflicted on you. if you’re bleeding when you become king, you’ll still be bleeding, and can die that way.

is royal finger infinite use but once per day or infinite use?

infinite use but once per day, by default all abilities can only be used once per cycle

is it specified that the neutral king “death immunity” isnt also execution immunity

It might be useful to separate the verb from the effect here. “Lacerate” (verb) could be the thing that causes “bleeding” (status). Then you could say “Immune to laceration” which at least semantically separates it from “bleeding”

also what happens if the king is the last player alive of their faction

provided they cannot kill and that will become obvious

I am not sure if I have explicitly said those words but yes, death immunity is not execution immunity

actually, other relevant clarifications:

  • no form of protection (including death immunity, healing, merc shield etc.) protects you from dying if you are executed by the court
  • no form of protection (including death immunity, healing, merc shield etc.) protects you from dying if you are executed by the Prince
  • no form of protection (including death immunity, healing, merc shield etc.) protects you from dying if you are killed by the Hunter’s Retribution passive
  • death immunity and merc shield do not protect you from dying if you are the King and the Butler poisons you. however, healing (including Time Warp) does protect you.
  • “death immunity” does not protect you from dying to bleeding.
  • also, elected evil kings don’t get added to scum chat anymore (starting evil kings were just never there to begin with)

they cannot kill (apart from the Psycho King), if it’s early/mid game people will likely figure it out and execute them (although death counts can often be a little iffy, and there might still be a living NK), if they survive to a 1v1 they will usually be able to win by pointing up the other player and then voting them out

the big notable exception here is that an evil king cannot win by pointing up and executing the Hunter – the Hunter’s arrow procs before the execution occurs, so a king who does this will end the game in a BD win

could this be put in the thread

it will be at some point, but my current plan is to put in all the role cards first, then add clarifications (and right now I don’t even have all the role cards finished)

(the reserved post will be used for general non-class-specific clarifications, like the faction cap)

This is all a ploy to get to the cookie faster.
