i played chess a bit when i was in the military
i was dogshit at it but so was everyone else except the few people who were obviously good but no one played with them

i would do a dnd if not only for the minor inconvenience that everyone is american and the one time my friend group did one i didnt feel like it

i played pathfinder 3.5e on discord once with 2 other people. 1 dipped, the other played so-so. so it was mostly me and the dm playing. i had fun fighting. i was an orc fighter. i grappled the final boss and made him stand on a square that was lit on fire so he took the extra burn damage
