I think Harris ran a mediocre campaign that conceded framing on some issues to the conservatives that was foolish, and didn’t spend enough time just hammering on the messaging that was working. Going to the right just tries to capture the high propensity voters on the fence rather than animate moderate and lower propensity voters in the base. She’s just banking on lower turnout ig.
However, Trump ran a pretty dogshit campaign so lol

donald trump when he just. lies. like, he always lied, but at least he kind of tried to support most of them. nope. he’s just lying, contradicting basic facts. like 10x more. i think the amount of people who are still undecided about trump (or just full-blown supporting him) is scarily high, normally that would be instant death for a candidate but. not today, apparently
