This election cycle has made me feel like I’m tied to one of the tracks in a trolley problem, and I’m waiting to see which lever is pulled. On the other side of the track is like the yachts billionaires would otherwise buy.

I remember one time when I went to an arcade and my mom almost won a giant plush bear from the claw machine, but she ran out of funds on the card, and by the time she came back, someone had taken the easy bear.
