It’s probably more common in less Hispanic or Latino spaces who think they’re being inclusive by saying it if I had to wager a guess

i mean I hate the word and think it’s reductive, but tbf it sounds better in spanish. “latinequis” flows better than “latinx” pronouns in english

The actual correct conjugation if you want to conjugate the word to refer to “they” would be Latine.

one thing ive seen that is a different version of latinx is ending words that would be in o (masculine) and a (feminine) in e, so it would make latine, but that for every gendered world
