I genuinely don’t know… it wasn’t confirmation, it was notification of seizure. But it was 3 letters for the same one, and it wasn’t like it required any action on my end so I have no clue why 3 were sent.
I can just sit here happily knowing that whoever drafted the language for those letters will probably be unemployed in a couple of months

its RFK specifically, and its pretty unrelated. Its mostly due to regulation of the more ~psuedoscientific medical concepts, but its been confirmed that the FDA will get mad curb stomped.

no. I actually think a lot of the fda specific changes he’s proposed seems… reasonable. banning direct to consumer advertizing for prescription drugs, price capping a lot of prescriptions, etc. etc.
of course, he had horrible opinions on women’s health and vaccines etc. etc. but I’m trying to look for bright spots in the next four years, and the potential for a bureaucratic hellhole of a govt. agency to see some major sweeping reforms that will probably benefit the majority of americans a lot more than it hurts them is something.
