i dont mind her in terms of presentation - they’ve done as good as job as they could with a joker / harley quinn character, which im not too enthusiasitc about. i dont really buy her, she is a mary sue, teleported all over the place in S1 - its fine from the … like … what the creators of arcane wanted it to be - they did a good job with jinx in that context. she wouldnt fit at all in my personal best version of arcane (but she doesnt have to be and im not a creator)

  2. can face a brawler with mecha gloves directly in melee combat multiple times
  3. shakes off getting whacked by melee weaponry despite weighing 60 lbs

Hunters are basically the strong people of the world
He’s going to a gathering where very strong hunters which are easily angered are
As his plus one, he’s bringing his vice captain, who is basically a citizen and not a hunter and is only vice captain because she’s great at admistrarion
A Hunter cannot harm a citizen without being fucked over but they can fight each other all they want

Eva is basically his “if you want to fight and commit a crime in front of the emperor be my guest”
