Nope my great-grandparents were the immigrants at latest. However my mother was legally deaf for most of her childhood and began speaking quite late so her pronunciation is still, like, ever-so-slightly-second-languagey and I’ve inherited some of it

She can’t hear the difference between “monster” and “Munster” as in Munster cheese. I thought it was called “monster cheese” for a very long time

i am really bad with… most accents, tbf. as far as identifying and hearing them.
I think I do a mean depressed londoner man accent, probably from watching youtube and doing vcs etc.

In middle/high school the joke was that I seemed like I was always staring into space and/or plotting a murder so I’m glad we’ve upgraded to approachable since then
