Cookie Thread Act 7: Romulus

Deadass taking economics, just a normal run of the mill macroeconomics class, is one reason why I think things like private prisons and privatized healthcare are just fundamentally unsound enterprises.

Practically everyone is polarized. The thing to realize is it doesn’t matter as long as there aren’t bright superficial differences, and you understand how to get townread.

the reason for the quiz, of course, is so me and the boys from the lab decide whether to make an initative to improve townplay or an initative to improve wolfplay

Producers make widgets and consumers buy widgets at certain prices based on the relative supply and demand for widgets. Okay, but what if the producer has a gun to the consumer’s head and says to buy a widget or die? Turns out supply stops mattering when demand goes to infinity (like it does with healthcare), and consumers will pay literally whatever they can.

we’re trying to figure out whether saying “I am town” as town and nothing else is desired or “I am town” as wolf and nothing else is

The Combinatorics strategy never fails (unless it’s a Virtuous game, in which case the optimal mafia strategy is to “we ball we ball we ball” until failure).

bussing is for the weak and the cowardly. kill villagers during the day and then kill villagers with threadpull who suspect you during the night. rinse and repeat.

I’m not polarized, I’m built different. Don’t google my post count per alignment graph.

iirc business executives today are really fuckin focused on CUTTING COSTS (which is why gaming companies lay off like 150 people every quarter)
and when i think of this i just remember one of my math teachers (teaching about i forgot what it was called but the thing where you make like 10 lines and then see where they all overlap or smth, and its used to maximize profit)
and he is actually a former small business owner
and he was like “you can cut costs to zero by going out of business. the real trick of business is maximizing profit through maximizing revenue, not cutting costs”

The only two people who actually solved it were you and Marluna.
