i j realized i probably wasn’t even in quiz bowl by the time these games were happening

the issue with forum poker is that if there isn’t any actual stake in poker the game sort of falls apart

There’s a player in QBCord who’s, like, 1700.
I have consistently beaten them by having a decent position, then making an absolutely stupid move that distracts her long enough for me to checkmate them.

absurd killpower on both sides. but in exchange everyone who died had a 1 in 3 chance to instead go to the “real world” and get an invention out of three cryptic choices instead. turns out that “dying” or “living and getting an invention” is an insanely powerful random dichotomy, and mafia forfeited despite having like 6 players alive because the vast majority of them were mech outed in some way or another (bajillion invests omegalul)

I joined December 2020. Reason I remember is because I was watching “The Door of Hope” from Attack on Titan the day it came out when my friend texted me and asked if I could play Skepmaf.

that’d be very generous
we’ll have to have a think about what to offer

Ok but why

voting worked by electing a mayor, who could shoot someone either publicly that day (in which case they couldn’t holster) or privately that night (in which case they could), but couldn’t be protected from kills (either that night or the next, idr which). a random player’s vote was chosen. once an outed mafia voted for themselves to be mayor and won the random vote and shot the literal ToS jailor that was in the game for some reason

though the things in those stashes would prob add up to more than 40 bucks but i digress

what if we run multiple gambling games over the course of a year, award chips and then run an invitational FM game to the top winners who can then use their chips for an in-game advantage
