Zeus struck down Odysseus’s ship with lightning because Helios cow got murdered and he told zeus that if he doesn’t do something he will go on strike and burn down hades (the place) and make it so earth doesn’t have a sun anymore. This song is part of a series with a slightly altered history where zeus gave Odysseus the choice and the song was about how men pride is nothing in the face of Zeus
