oh
it kinda depends on the environment
most of the games i play are kinda tame, usually mostly vanilla roles with a few town power roles and maybe a mafia one too
i played in the last season of the mafia championships (this sounds cooler than it is, trust me) and the setup there was
x2 Mafia Goon
x1 Mafia Roleblocker | Non-consecutive (prevents a player from acting that night, cant target 2 nights in row)
x9 Vanilla Town
x1 Town Motion Detector (detects if someone was visited OR visited someone else at night, yes or no result)
x1 Town Doctor | Non-consecutive (protects a player from death, cant target 2 nights in row)
x1 Town Vigilante | 1-Shot, Cycle 2+ (shoot a player at night once during the game on n2 or later)
and this season its just 12 VTs vs 3 mafia goons (also known as mountainous)
if that gives you a bit of an idea, there’s a lot of more common roles i could go over but id prob be here all day
ftr masons are always the same alignment (unless the game is cringe), neighbors are the same but can be any combination of alignment
Something something mason means not mafia something something
(Important for multiball)
kat knows that I love neutrals in Throne Of Lies so its no surprise to them that im the neutral redeemer in dgww, seems my job isn’t doing so well rn with everyone shitting on the neutrals as a concept peepoSad
i am personally not a big fan of neutrals and think most of them suck but you are free to disagree
The neutrals in throne of lies are far more problematic then in dgww
The game can always be cringe therefore masons are not always the same alignment
But they pretty much are yeah
yeah but bastard games are bad
like apo said masons in typical games are explicitly always town
Different-alignment masons are just good twin and evil twin
Katze lock v unironically
