Start of complaining about their partner’s slanking. Also LOL at the second one. No this is not clearing in any way, last game on TS I saw a wolf joke about making a “scumslip”

So Ivy, 22, and Werefuck are townreads. Believers in salad theory would say there’s a wolf there, but I’m not sure salad theory applies when you have only one partner. Has the odd contradictory stances on me and Abby as mentioned before. Doesn’t mention the other four players, and it’s a bit odd given the number of interactions with HD (fluff interactions, but still)

Hedgy view on ML. Despite not having “any reason to townread MeLootz”, seems a bit hesitant to vote ML due to a lack of resistance to the wagon. Fair on its own, but if they were partners HAI would be the only one with reason to resist.

Fluff interactions with WL. Goes to show that just because their interactions are fluff doesn’t mean they’re partners, I mean it should go without saying with how many people they’re treating like that but still

First post with any kind of read on HD when pressured to provide which vote on ML wagon was wolfy. TRs Icy though, and was kinda locked out of considering me a wolf based on previous posts. With this, list of TRs goes to four with me sorta hanging on the edges.

Fluff responses to Abby, mild defense of Werefuck, taking Abby’s side of the Abbi vs. me argument (it’s not as if there are real stakes for picking one side over the other besides buddying), and looking at a list for Zenon’s Conjecture. Given the dubiousness of its effectiveness, I’m assuming that they saw it as a way to push a mislynch, so the names are worth repeating here: MeLootz, HellDualies, catch-22, danger_icy.

Interesting, so HAI feels trapped by Zenon’s conjecture, as he had earlier shaded the ML wagon as being potentially wolfy. Were they banking on me being on the list? But weirder, them "trust"ing HD is a complete reversal of their previous position that they were the wolfiest voter on the wagon. Hmm…

Singles out WL and ML without Miku despite the “read” on Miku being just as indecisive. Their views on ML have been hedgy all game and this is no different.

And we end on fluff. Fitting for this part, but the "reads"list was at least substantial. Getting there, but still a long way to go!

Anyway, my meta on Quava, for you, Ori, is that they tend to go out of their way to mention/reply to their partners, but only in passing, in a way that feels like they’ve got gloves on handling the whole thing. He’ll reply to them pointedly and talk about their thoughts, occasionally give what sounds like a read, but it never feels like he’s actually actively thinking about them, if that makes sense. I think if Quava made a conscious decision to bus or townread her partner, obviously she’d be well capable of that, but early in the game her default habit is not to do that. I don’t think rain would try to bus in this setup, with a 2-wolf situation, rain isn’t usually too bus-happy.

Okay, now a post looking at ML’s ISO, a lot of “not liking” ML’s posts. Seems to sheep my read of ML’s defense of 22 (yet another chapter in this tumultuous relationship. Still a better love story than Twilight) but at the end does agree with ML’s callout of HD’s post but makes it clear that they don’t TR ML for this? Now that’s a third person they’re treating in a contradictory manner (fourth if you count ML, since this is the first post with any remotely strong feelings towards that slot)

Isn’t TRing ML or WL. Seems to have forgotten about Miku, but again that relationship has been contradictory. WL flipped town. Would HAI single out his partner here? Maybe not, but it could still be effective distancing.

Stops hedging and finds a vote, though took him a bit of kicking and screaming to get there. At this point, ML was by far the biggest wagon, with no others seeming remotely viable.

So fluff to me, fluff to HD, defense of ML from my allegations of lolcatting, fluff to 22, fluff to ML (“usually I’d still be fluff posting” you are fluffposting), fluff about ML to 22, funny post in hindsight directed at me (but still fluff), more fluff to ML, now starting to wolfread ML (we’re getting to the point of contradictions in a single post), even more fluff to ML, still more fluff to ML, yet more fluff to ML, eventually fluff to Ivy, AGAIN fluff to ML, defending themselves from Ivy’s wolfread, YET AGAIN fluff to ML, SO MUCH fluff to ML, disagreeing with ML’s meta on Abby, fluff on 22, and finally fluff on ML. Why did I read through this entire thing again? So through this entire post, we have maybe three things that are relevant to the game. Starting to see why I hate wallposts?

Though (this point is actually important so it’s on a separate line) the sheer amount of fluff directed at ML is insane here, and I don’t think wolf partners would do that when they can fuck around in wolfchat. I’m starting to come around to ML town.

And it seems like HAI doth fluffpost still. All directed at Ivy, and again a bit excessive for partner interactions, but as this is a back-and-forth it could be more easily planned compared to all the shit thrown at ML.

And another fluffpost. It is only different from the others because it is directed at a different person (Miku).

So for their grand reentrance, they choose to vote someone who had previously seemingly been one of their biggest townreads, though with a suspicious lack of interactions. This is the first vote on the wagon, so it’s not opportunistic at least. The reasoning does feel a little flimsy though, it boils down to “feigning confusion” (I’m not sure I’ve seen anyone unironically do this?) and weird votes (like they’re one to talk), so I guess that does feel a little “opportunistic”. Could it be distancing? Maybe, as I said before there is a suspicious lack of interaction in their ISO and as this is the first vote of a wagon on a player that was previously widely townread so HAI may have felt that there was little risk in doing this. However, the reasoning is pretty flimsy and wolves are usually able to come up with better cases on their partners due to TMI and being able to prepare in wolfchat. So I still GTH Werefuck as town, though it’s something I’m not sure on.

Guess I have to come up with a huge paragraph to make up for the rest of this section being complete fluff.

Oh, and they kindly posted the votecount so I didn’t have to do it. Whatever. A bit fluffy, though I suppose there may be a strategic reason for pointing out that there are no wagons. If there is, it’s impossible to tell what it is here since there are five possible directions it could be pointing. Salad theory believers would probably have a field day with this one though.

And now I’m officially over halfway done. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel… in the far distance. Still, might as well keep going

I don’t know how it works for brothers but I feel like people think of your close to someone you can’t read them accurately generally speaking.

This line of thinking is stupid and wrong but it often gets applied to me with Caitlin since we are dating and i wonder if people conclusion or unconsciously use that same logic wrt you.

Either way Wonderland never should have been in the firing line. And it’s baffling to me that they (or I but at least with me i run people the wrong way and they can’t think clearly with my slot) were ever put up. FoL has a massive CFD problem and its really bad because it rarely if ever catches wolfs yet y’all do it like every game.

Response to my concern with half of people not voting. Singles out Icy and WL in particular. Since one flipped town, salad believers would take that to mean Icy must be wolf, but I think it’s more likely they’re both town.

Retraction of the inclusion of Ivy. Another thing that would look odd if they were partners, but it’s a minor point like the rest of the HAI/Icy interactions.

Again with the whats and again with the fluff directed at ML? Two trends I thought we were over with by now

Concerned with the Werefuck-led HD wagon, a pivot from a previous “wolfread” on them (or is it a continuation of the previous pivot? I’ve lost track of all their contradictory reads by now)

But won’t waste time on making sure they fluffpost at ML as much as possible. I guess that must be their rebound.

Response to me asking them to look at the other votes on the HD wagon. Excuses Icy, confused by 22. The difference is notable, though wasn’t 22 the one they were trying to pocket? I guess this post signals a shift in strategy (assuming Icy is not their partner)?
