Atlas didn’t discuss it during the spec chat, so I’ll illustrate how Hippo, May and I were tautly aligned in a two-player winning game.
I volunteered to die at third place. This sacrifice was offered in earnest, albeit with the expectation that one of the other two would perish before me. When either was at risk, I provided direction to save them both; and was gracious when I believed I was in harm’s way. This meant they didn’t need to worry about an internal betrayal going up to eight, seven, six, five.
It was a strategic manoeuvre and a kind gesture, not an attempt to betray my wincon since that’s a rule, but it might clarify any questions people might’ve had. It wasn’t a trap team or anything.

Yea Magnus Hippo and I were in a group chat and we shared everything & Magnus had done the incredible political maneuver of volunteering to be the one to die in F3. Obviously, I knew this was bullshit, I assume Hippo knew this was bullshit, but the presence of hte statement allowed all of us to play pretend and meant a 3-player alliance was actually sustainable.
We had a motivator + a player with a damaging NPC + a player who increased MT for the night, so we were able to output tons of damage with that coordination. As I understand it, everybody else was basically working in pairs or looser 3-person alliances, but we had an unconditional 3. I basically didn’t even consider betrayal until F4 because I knew keeping us together was more valuable than any individual ally I might’ve had

i did the same for my jane bys alliance. i think we were in a good spot. i lied to a bunch of ppl, i think our diplomacy was fine. i just got randomly targeted coz ppl thought my alias is ugly

I don’t wanna hear it about bad alias luck N1. I picked katze knowing it would get me shot I was half-trying to sandbag and avoid sinking my entire person into the game like I knew I’d do otherwise. It didn’t work
