if you were playing to win you’d change/improve even very gradually you make reads as you get better

but you haven’t either

and also to an outside observer you’re playing in a way where you try to maximize the amount of wolves you dunk on while you’re alive and while that’s fun it’s not helpful to winning

the reason why everyone memes about the chop chop method is not only because it’s so wide reaching as to be useless in any game but also because there isn’t a single “method” that works in every game ever

and thinking like that is just a way to facilitate more town loses

people don’t even think like that about chess/poker and they’re way more solid games in terms of tactics than mafia

ultimately you just need to play and practice a lot and just get better
