Enemy Within (Deus Ex 5) 10/18 - Town/NSF Victory

Also

yeah, he feels frozen in a macro sense so far fmpov

hasnt really progressed outside of his geyde nonmafia read and gghana NK read

i know he said hes busy, but his progression is stunted and it’s pretty noticeable tbh

I suppose the point that Jarek marches to the beat of their own drum in most of their ISO lends credence to the claim that they very much aren’t concerned about position or things of that sort

Archetypically they stick incredibly well to person playing in their own world
Considering this…I think a lock is relatively safe?

Is it never rescind tier?

Probably not
But I’d only seriously reevaluate if they started being blatantly wolfy

Could you elaborate more about the style of opener in each game you examined and their alignment in each

alright
these are all the content posts

that’s more than I expected
probably can make a read off this

I feel like i’ve tried too early and it’s obvious im in my town meta which i usually dont do till like d3 so i dont get nkilled

tis my curse I just care TOO much

Yeah sure i can

Offsite-town game: came in later into the day within day 1, claimed miller, fluffed for a couple of posts, but then got a bit more into the nitty gritty. loooking at when he posted though, he only had like, a few posts d1, but picked up more d2. Still, it didnt feel awkard or weird fmpov

Questions-FM: Voted Eli in his first post, fluffed a little bit, but was reading the thread and keeping up with gamestate at the time, then delved in C++ talk, but then delved back into a more solvy behaviour and approach.

Offsite-Wolf game: Fluffed his introduction, joked around with being town, then delved into mech-talk and shaded a slot on their approach to the game they were in

This Game: Fluffy, but awkard intro, got pressured quickly, and it feels like they didnt know how to approach the pressure they got early, and they kinda have been absent from gamestate.

Again, from what i said earlier, this game’s opener is more of an outlier compared to the other 3, but i feel like it’s looking a bit more like his wolf game intro a bit more tbh, because the town-games he got into a move solvy mindset, while his wolf game was more mech and some shading, while he hasnt done, he just feels frozen in progression rn

We all know Gorta
Gorta is a chad who can make reads that fundamentally rock the boat of the game
He sees the deepwolves better than any normal person
And he infamously does yardwork

Following this line
Where he lands on the Jarek / Jake reads are nuanced in a way that makes a decent amount of sense for somebody who has little time to play the game
I think where he lands is reasonable given the progression of the thread and the beats of each individual player have those slots tend to stand out
Particularly the Jarek stuff is something I could see anyone thinking about him making

This is definitely…interesting

I think it’s village

Hmmm

Personally I think his reads are kind of lacking in a definitive stance, even for Gorta?

Sure it’s hedge but like
It’s gorta

I don’t think his reads will trend any way other than hedge
