But no matter how you see it: It’s dumb.
Mafia are already low on numbers, so unless their exact plan is to deepwolf to the point of being the Ultimate Town as mafia, and then solo reverse sweep at endgame–
–then it’s literally never worth it to shoot down a scumbuddy.

Windward (and Blizer IIRC) already discussed this, and they (correctly) hypothesized that Arctic kept shooting Hippo -the Town King- until he had hit, and then shot Proph while knowing that he would never be able to kill Proph.
