May’s ISO is just so awkward without cause. I think May’s overwhelmed by the text flourishing so past. w!May presumably wouldn’t want to look so awkward right off the bat, but ( 328 ) sorta proves it’s intentional.

Here’s my very specific review of this nature: May is town unless they’re precisely evil with Zugzwang. Latching onto another player’s slot feels iffy.

I’m not the most fond of this lacklustre progression, actually. Apo’s specifically forming the most level 1 reads instead of simply falling victim to the trap of being overwhelmed in a mash, since neither of these messages are particularly self-aware. I can’t remember how Apo usually behaves as either alignment, though Sadbi’s logic regarding Apocryphal’s stiffness seems to be fine.

If I was careless with my reads, I’d lock Neil in as a villager because of their perspective regarding Firinn’s death ( 1090 ) as an aside-aware gamestate read about basic assumptions (which feels realistically normal), but there’s nothing unfakeable regarding all their unexplained one-liner reads thus far so I’m not going to. There’s recognisably a position in which Neil could just be evil playing however they feel the most comfortable.

Like they just seem too aware of the posts they make somehow???

@WindwardAway was announced as the king at daystart, and yet she didn’t comment on this announcement at all. She couldn’t have missed it unless it wasn’t her ability (seems unlikely given the nature of the daystart reveal), but she didn’t command rule over her subjects in the typical monarch fashion whenever anyone rands King.

I’m unsure what to make of this.

I’m not the greatest fan of his opening, but the way wherein he voted Sadbi at ( #311 ) was clear aggressive RVS, and he then turned it into a rolefishing joke at ( #457 ) which feels like a safe way to force interactions inorganically. Considering that he immediately once again pleaded for a late-night music playlist, this whole early engagement feels abnormal on a first reading. Even his first post, asking if anybody wanted to play Smash Bros, doesn’t really make sense in sincerity because he wouldn’t have been able to play the game at the same time he was driving.

This isn’t even commentary, this is just a reaction post. While Insomnia was voting Sadbi previously to this point, it was for no particular given reason; and he promptly switched off the wagon shortly thereafter without so much as a backwards glance so he wasn’t attached to it either.

His Bystander vote was at 914 and elaborated upon at 1256, so if Insomnia found her vote on Brakuren or the starting spectator-like demeanour suspicious, he should have been able to explain the reasoning behind it. Insomnia didn’t elaborate on the read whatsoever, and didn’t even use it as a way of garnering a conversation from Bystander; ( #1342 ) reveals as much, he’s just attention-baiting.

When questioned about this by Ashlyn, his explanation ( #1482 ) is reflective rather than contemplative; both to justify disliking Bystander’s initial focus which would’ve only applied to a single unsubstantiated vote from the first time Insomnia mentioned it, to saying that Brakuren was suspicious for posting recursively to the same person for a short while? That wouldn’t innately justify your original findings and it doesn’t apply to your own logic, since you aren’t calling them W/W? Not even later, when you don’t really have an opinion on which one looks worse? Eh.

This whole thing just feels wolfy and unnecessary??? Its just there?

Either the recursive one-line readers are all town or most of them are evil, with no inbetween. The need to avoid justifying your perspectives either comes from the viewpoint of somebody without the time to express their opinions, or they’re just taking the easy route since nobody’s going to follow-up on them.

I don’t love that Wind wanted to cast doubt on the merits of having her alignment checked before discrediting the announcement. Admittedly, it’s fairly obviously not sincere either way, but at worst it should be nil beside the risk of accidentally getting executed. Wind just seems actively uncomfortable with her votes, which is atypical given the secret double vote claim.
