Part 1

Each post-it note depicts a rebus corresponding to one of characters who was dead at the start of the day:

  • The pile of ash corresponds to Ash
  • The four-leaf clover and eyes corresponds to Luxy (luck see)
  • The Japanese hiragana and pimple corresponds to cheez-it (chi zit)
  • The no brain corresponds to Dum (dumb)
  • The bi pride flag guy corresponds to bystander (bi stander)

For each role, you then used the number on the post-it note to “index” into the full role name (including alignment) of each character. For example, for Ash, the number is 1, so you take the first letter of the role name, which is T. This yields the string TFISH.

Reordering TFISH based on the order the characters died in produces SHIFT.

Part 2

The visitor observations are Morse Code, with tall visitors corresponding to dashes and short ones corresponding to dots. (As a clue to the Morse Code element, the first letter of each sentence in part 2 spells out MORSE CODE.)

Solving the Morse Code produces CHANGE.

This means that the overall correct answer is SHIFT CHANGE.

I’m back to gut SRing her and I don’t think she’d have revealed it instantly as town. RBers and redirectors could very well exist on the mafia team and I think town!nutella would have considered that
