When I was like ten, my friend and I genuinely convinced some of the other kids in our school that we were “blue/purple colorblind”, and that this form of colorblindness manifested as thinking the color blue was purple and vice versa. We “could tell them apart”, we just “used the wrong names for it”. We kept this charade up for several months. Unrelated to anything happening right now, just a thought.
